Marmot in it's glory [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Marmot in it's glory
This Olympic Marmot stayed around just long enough for me to get some good shots. Beautiful American Bistort flower meadows such as these are common areas to see Olympic Marmots~August 14,2006~

Thanks Dave. It was a matter of being in the right place at sunset, with the right animal:)

I have to agree, best marmot shot I've ever seen. You made a marmot look dignified. Who knew?

Thank you. I'm getting the impression that the marmot is a bad little critter. I guess I'll have to witness some treachery for myself sometime:) Have a good one!

this is the marmot of all marmot shots. You have to get out there pretty often to catch a shot like this. Good work.

Thanks. This was more luck then anything, having just run away from a bear at 20 feet only to meet this little guy:) Gotta love the Olympics!

Wish I could think of something new to say about this, but everybody beat me to it. Terrific shot. You and the marmot should be proud.

Thank you very much. It was one of those moments I knew I needed to capture. They don't come around every day:)
