How a Storm Comes to Mt. Blanc (pic 5) [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
How a Storm Comes to Mt. Blanc (pic 5)
This is the fifth of a series of pictures taken to illustrate the rapidity of arrival of a major storm over Mt. Blanc.

At 15:20,the Jorasses are engulfed by the storm. It's raining in buckets nows, and the wind is so strong that I had difficulties to take this picture. Just below the cloud ceiling the wind is now at 150 mph, if not stronger.
