September Sunrise...
...on the N Ridge of Mt Stuart (Sherpa Peak on the left). Photo taken from Pt 7380 near Windy Pass, Cashmere Mountain. Stuart Glacier is directly below the summit and Goat Pass is on the right (W). Labor-day weekend, Sept '06.

The early morning sun helps too. Cashmere isn't much of a climb but it does offer some nice views.

I'll bet that couloir to the west (right) is a bowling alley, but would be awesome in the right conditions. Great picture. It's a side of Stuart I've rarely seen.

You're right about that. The couloir looked pretty rotten on the 4th of July when we did the N Ridge. Thanks for your comment.
