Kings Peak Wilderness? [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Kings Peak Wilderness?
Kings Peak is supposed to be a wilderness area. We chuckled about that after seeing large flocks of sheep and beef cows grazing in the area. These sheep were violating the LEAVE NO TRACE ethic.

Yes, they took the summit plaque off of Kings Peak that honored Clarence King because it was not supposed to be in a wilderness area but then sheep are allowed to roam all over the place. We had a herd to go through on the trail back to the TH where we met you and the others. Moose yes, sheep no. My vote anyway. : )
