Locomotion [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Locomotion
Locomotion-5.10a- F Slab, Wasootch Slabs, Kananaskis Country, Canadian Rockies. Same as Nasty Habits in difficulty. Again a sport route now. Most difficult start on F Slab, fun in the middle, easy at the top. All three of these 5.10a’s are a little polished on the first move, but after that the rock is very nicely textured by Canadian Rocky standards. Reminds me of the upper Heart Creek crags.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
