Last Chance Bay [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Last Chance Bay
The entrance to vast Last Chance Bay. There are multiple smaller canyons that we encountered as we made our way up the bay. Places to beach your boat and camp are more difficult to find than other places on the Lake Powell, but they are there if you look hard for them. We found a beautiful secluded spot in an unnamed canyon just to the southeast of the end of the bay at the openings to Last Chance and Little Valley Canyons.

Greetings from Arizona. You people have GREAT snow ... hope you get MORE of it this year.

Lake Powell on the Colorado Plateau - outstanding area! NEED more snow to fill it UP, though. Don't want to scrape bottom. Oh well, Mother Nature WILL always find a WAY!!! THANKS!

Thanks! Just got back from Lake Powell again last week for our second family trip. We were higher up the lake around Bullfrog and there was even less water. I beached our houseboat on a sandbar ~ 300 feet from shore, then nailed a rock with the speedboat the following day. That was $90 off my deposit for 2 props!
Hopefully the western slopes will get nailed this year. The front range was hammered.

Well, you're looking at things from a different perspective. All I see is sand & scorpions - but, some SWEETER stuff if I go up NORTH. Thanks, and don't have too much FUN.
