SP members approaching Sundance Buttress and the Needle on the west end of Lumpy Ridge. The ascent route to the Needle and the summit of Lumpy Ridge is the wooded gully between the two rock faces. The weather was far nicer than we'd been expecting and the trip was quite mellow and pleasant. October 21, 2006.
