Hasn't voted | Thanks. This fire was a mixed bag in that it did destroy some resources and scar a lot of ground, but it also rejuvenated extensive areas of big game habitat by increasing new forage. The flames seen in this photo were actually a back fire lit from a secure location ahead of the advancing main fire to deprive it of fuel. | | Posted Jan 5, 2007 6:21 pm |
