Yeah - the UTTER DESOLATION of the place. I went to Nome, Alaska in 1994. Luckily, I had a friend who pointed out some of the lakes and peaks to me. I whipped out my camera, and it was frozen. Oh ... well. Such is LIFE! Thanks!
