Yellow Monkey-flower (Mimulus guttatus guttatus)
This is the common variety of yellow monkey-flower. It is widespread on very wet ground and along streams from low to mid-elevations in the mountains of western North America. It is also in the northeast U.S. states, but is far less common there. Photo is from near Lewiston, Idaho.
