Ellen surveys the aftermath...
Ellen surveys the aftermath of the avalanche in Silver Pick basin a month or so later. All the rock debris was peeled off the side of the mountain and came down with the avalanche, to be deposited on the snow below. The sound would have been deafening. Survival would have been unlikely. Summer, 2003.

The sound is indeed deafening i watched a debri slide in Austria and it is damned frightning when you see this from real upclose. If we had passed two minutes later we would have been dead beyond the meaning of the word

"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."   --Peter Gibbons (Office Space)
