Hasn't voted | Attempted the traverse last Friday (Aug 16). Made it from the "start" to Haeckel Col (took about 12 hours) before being caught in a lightening storm for a couple of hours (we hid under a boulder). When the storm let up a bit, we decided to bail. We soloed the entire ridge with two short raps near Darwin (in order to avoid downclimbing what looked like 5.9 dirt). | | Posted Aug 18, 2003 1:01 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Yeah, thunderstorms were pretty wild on Saturday. We got caught up in one ourselves on the summit ridge of Tyndall not too far from you guys. Please post more pics from your trip if you have them. This is some great stuff!

But-congratulations to you and all of you who DO climb, because when you submit photos like this one we get a good chance to see what we otherwise wouldn't.
