Very nice and clear photo!

From my experience, these are hardest photos to make.
Mountains are at least not moving!! :)

Thanks for the compliment. I used a really nice lens with nice focus ability to get this image. It did all the work for me. All I had to do was press a button. :)

Great shot & good job. I agree with justahiker - these pics are quite difficult to take! You're a good "hunter".

Thanks. This was easy hunting since the bird was resting in its nest when I spotted it. When I approached the nest the bird took off in flight and made circles around me. I managed to get some pictures before I felt too guilty about disturbing its lunch break.

I find these shots hard enough when the bird is perching. It's not true that "all you did" was press the button! Great shot.

A very impressive shot. This isn't something you get to see very often, at least I don't. Thanks for sharing.

Ospreys are cool birds. Did you see her catch the fish too?

No, I didn't see her make the catch. I'd love to see that.

Very difficult to get such a nice shot--sharp and with the bird with a virtually perfect pose. Good job! --mark d.

It's so difficult to get this kind of shot. Normally you have to wait for ages. Or you are lucky in the splitsecond. Great photo.

Great image, thanks for sharing. So hard to get good wildlife pics; much harder generally than landscape shots.

Truly fantastic. I'm curious at what range did you take this shot? (how close did you get before she bolted?)

ColonelpyatRe: Excellent

Thanks. I'd guess this was about 100 feet. I'm not good at such guesses though. She never did bolt. This was taken pretty close to her nest and she flew circles around me, shouting obscenities.

Kenzo OkawaSuper shot!

You took a big chance what to take photo of the bird on an ascending air current. And I respect your skill, of course!
