The view from the Luxmore hut is rewarding, especially when mother nature throws in a stunning rainbow, one of many we've seen during our stay in New Zealand.

Hasn't voted | This brings out memories. I stayed in that hut for two nights in may 2000, with just one other tramper. It was a little spooky being just the two of us in that immense hut (at least for NZ standards)...

Hasn't voted | The Luxmore hut is massive yeah, must be strange being there almost alone. I was there over christmas, so it was reasonably quiet luckily and the track not too crowded.
