Two climbers below the summit of Mt. Cook
Two climbers traverse the ridge below the summit of Mt. Cook. This is above the Summit Rocks and was particularly icy in December 2006. We belayed almost the entire section above the summit rocks because the traverse was quite icy and exposed. Typically this is a nice easy snow climb.

This is replacing an image I deleted because it was small and some people asked for a larger version.

Thanks so much Carolyn. This was such a beautiful climb. This image only captures a tiny bit of how beautiful this area is.
