10 Trail across Leprechaun Lake Outlet [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
10 Trail across Leprechaun Lake Outlet

The trail crosses Leprechaun Lake's outlet here. Even is September, some snow remains on the lower plateau. Rune Lake (Perfection Lake on the map) lies between this Leprechaun and the rock wall in the background – and there are more lakes to the right and left.

The trail goes around to the right of that right-central hump, and up to the upper plateau and more lakes. Little Annapurna is hardly noticeable from here; it's the distant, rounded hump left of center.

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
