Or should I say "chilly?" Now that I think I know what I am looking at, this pic is truly exciting.....and possibly drippy.

It was actually not that cold - which is of course why it was drippy. Kind of like climbing in the rain.

Peter and I were both pretty much soaked. Our boots were squishing from all the water that had wicked in from our soft shell pants, which were utterly saturated.

Steve on the other hand wore gore-tex from head to toe and seemed to be pretty dry at the end. Bastard ! :)

Too often these images are the all too ubiquitous (for SP) butt-shots. Thanks for stepping to the side before pressing the shutter release. :-) --mark d.
