Bighorn Ewe [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Bighorn Ewe
This bighorn sheep wandered up to us while we were relaxing on the summit of Mount Breitenbach. I've come across quite a few mountain goats while climbing, but it seems like they're usually pretty off-ish. Apparently sheep are way more curious. This ewe got within 15 feet, and hung around watching us for several minutes before strolling off to the west.

Thanks. I was thinking she wanted a bite of my lunch, but you may be right.

She just wants to watch you glissade down the mountain while she eats your entire lunch.

I refused to give her any of my lunch (but she did watch us glissade down towards Pete Creek later in the day.)
