Mosquito Range, Pennsylvania Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Mosquito Range, Pennsylvania Mountain
Pennsylvania Mountain as seen from the north via the summit of London Mountain. The gentle summit plateau dome is visible, and easily reached from the Southeast Ridge Route (not visible in this photo), which bypasses private mining property concerns that dot the mountain and its surroundings. This north face is a jumble of loose talus and is not recommended for climbing. Another route alternative is the west ridge (to the right), which may serve as a suitable route approached from American Flats below the Mosquito Pass road, or from Mount Evans, south of Mosquito Pass. June 2nd climb of London Mountain, Mosquito Range, Spring, 2007.
