On the way down from Mt Baldy and Almagre on June 16th, 2007, we hiked down a dead forest that looked to be the result of a fire started by lightning some years ago. Taking a break, I looked up in front of me and saw this amazing site. I've seen millions of twisted trees, but never two wrapped around each other!
