| Mt Ausangate Camp | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The end of day 1 of our approach to Mt Ausangate. It was a strange setting with the alpaca all around and the three alpaca herders who sat very still and stared at us for several hours. (Mount Ausangate, Peru - June 2006)

Hasn't voted | Thank you very much. This was taken with a Canon PowerShot S45. I think the lighting is what made this photo look nice. It was late in the day, with clouds creeping in from the mountains behind us, creating this warm color. | | Posted Aug 7, 2007 10:10 pm |

Hasn't voted | Yes, those are alpaca with their fluffy fur that makes all those soft blankets and sweaters. They're pretty cute. | | Posted Oct 31, 2007 9:30 pm |
