If you ever wondered do ENT's really exist here is the answer, I found one by along the southern Crnopac (1404m) route. Unfortunately it was to lazy to carry me to the summit. Maybe next time I’ll have more luck.

Looks like a Beech. Did it perhaps take root on a log that rotted away and is thus standing up?

Yes Mark, it's beech. I think that both 'legs' are OK, left one certainly is while right one might be partially rotted. In a hurry I forgot to check that detail. I passed here several time but only noticed it now. It really looks alive, has a tail, both arms, eyes above arms, seams like it's going to take a walk at anytime. Maybe this lost ENT from Middle Earth needs a crutch.
