A Great View [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
A Great View
Sun kisses Mount Yale (right) and Horn Fork Basin as the sun sets over the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area. The next day we completed a very long Harvard/Columbia Traverse.

I have good memories from this place. This is such a beautiful basin. My dog did both Harvard and Columbia in a day. I was very proud of him.

It definitely is a beautiful basin! I bet your dog was tired after! On our traverse we descended into the wrong basin, by accident, trying to avoid snow. Made for a very loose variation and added 3 hour to traverse :( But somehow even after that and the awful decent off of Columbia I still have great memories of that hike.

Anya stated about this being a great place. I need to also add that this is a great shot. I really like the inclusion of a person enjoying the view as it captures the way I often feel when i get to survey a mountain vista. Awe.
