noticed this one. Did you climb Sir Donald? I was up in that range in '02 or so.

I wish, brother. A couple friends were with me, and while they went off to do Sir Donald (successfully, by the way), I linked up Abbott/Afton solo.

Sir Donald looks awesome, but they wanted to solo the entire ascent - ...no thanks!

Hmmm, that'd be borderline. I don't really solo above 5.5 any more, and that ridge has usually got snow on it. Think I'd hit it with a rope now. Same problem when I was there so I did Uto instead (which was also interesting - several hundred feet of soloing up to 5.4. Hey, is your book in stores yet, or do I have to order it online?

Well, it's in 3 stores around here (none in AZ, sorry) or you can order it online or you can order it directly from me. Many options, brother.

By the way, your picture is in it, too. You should be getting famous any minute now...!
