Campsite at Snow Lake
Campsite at Snow Lake with the colorful bands of metamorphic rock on Quartzite Peak glowing in the setting sun. The old Montezuma Tungsten Mine (now closed) is located in the rock scree on the far shore, just above the tent in the photo... The normal route begins from Bond Pass, at the left of the ridgeline. Photo taken August 10, 2001.
