Classic Route

1. couloir between two rock ribs (best taken close to the right)
2. traverse left (N) over ledges and a recess to a notch on the W Ridge of the foresummit
3. snow slope (up to 50º)
- climb directly up
4. slab (II+)
4a. chimney
5.foresummit
6. down into the notch beyond, then scramble up the exposed ridge to the main summit
