| Bacon & Legs | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Starting the lead of P2 of Bacon & Legs (5.9) on Super Slab. Tad of a stretch to first bolt with gear aimed at protecting the anchor. Wide angle view of same position is here (August 2007).

"Did you get your slab dose at Tuolumne ?"
have not done much down there (& esp. not much slab routes) - hopefully sometime down the line.

Voted 10/10 | I think the timing is right. It's a valiant effort, anyway, and I hope it prevails. | | Posted Aug 24, 2007 8:49 pm |
| Dan Dalton | Surprising how... | |
Voted 10/10 | a long angle slab can offer quite difficult climbing. Nice shot.

Hasn't voted | yup - from my limited experience, slab climbing = mundane photos but usually climbing (grade per grade) is much more exciting than a solid (on-demand-pro) crack :)
PS I'm not talking about slabs on the east coast...have not done those & probably will not as I like life...
PPS thanks for the visit Dan. | | Posted Aug 21, 2007 7:21 pm |
