Mount Tweto as seen from the Southeast Ridge of Mount Arkansas. We're looking at Mount Tweto's fun Northwest Ridge route, a great Class 2 or 3 scramble, depending on your route choices. This "split" ridge would usually be climbed from Mount Arkansas, but the saddle between the mountains could certainly be gained from basins below via a scamper up loose talus and scree. Mount Tweto is 13,672 feet high and makes for a splendid short day's outing. A longer day is required to climb both Tweto and Arkansas. Mosquito Range, Colorado, Summer, 2007.
