This spectacular peak, UN 12,968, has the unofficial name "Dragon's Back." It lies within the Uncompahgre Wilderness near Wildhorse Peak and Blackwall Mountain. September 1, 2007

I tried to climb it -- I spent about an hour on the peak and attempted three different lines -- but I never found anything that I was comfortable with unroped.
