Hasn't voted | The colors we see depend a lot upon the ambient light, and yes, when I took the shot they really were that color. A few minutes later the sun (and clouds) had moved and that super-saturated color was gone! | | Posted Dec 5, 2007 5:29 pm |

Hasn't voted | No offense taken. All I did was crop a bit - nothing else.
Shots like this - and they're few and far between - are why I keep my camera (Nikon D80) handy most of the time. Getting a dramatic photo like this periodically is one of the things which keeps me outdoors so much.
