This summit boulder (east face) on McReynolds was way out of my league, so I resorted to a prussik climb. This was hard enough at altitude! Taken 11/3/07 by Teresa Gergen.

Voted 10/10 | is the landing terribly heinous? Looks like a very doable boulder problem, and a 5.9 it should go at nothing harder than a V2. Looks fun to free it, and according to your page, a class 4ish with a few 5ht class moves walk-off doesn't sound that bad. Great page and cool shot!

Thanks for the comments. This shot is of the east face. Gerry Roach rated the boulder as a 5.9 climb, although I'm not sure what side he went up. The east face here is more vertical than the west face, which has the 4th class slabs leading up to a wide crack. Both sides were way out of my league since I haven't toproped much, but a solid climber who is comfortable with rough Pikes Peak granite with few holds could probably free it.
