Terry backs off the upper teir, only to have me lead a scary melting mass of shit. This isn't as fat as it can be.

Hasn't voted | self-searching stupidity perhaps. Whatever the case, it's always nice to be done. | | Posted Dec 4, 2007 1:00 pm |

Hasn't voted | Yeah, Deb, I'm so impressed with those that climb the 6's here. They are mostly climbing crazy south-facing pillars.
I read the Chief's trip report of that north peak Left. Was that you on there too? Now that's some big ass ice, eh? Still, since I've looked at them, and even though we don't know each other at all, I remember your husbands pictures of you soloing some sierra climbs, and think you are totally badass. I almost shit my pants with fear just lookin at those fucking things!! damn.
Anyway, this was a sweet, if WARM, day. Typical of Joes spring conditions | | Posted Dec 20, 2007 8:47 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Yep, North Peak was my first "officially" ice lead. I had just done Lamarck's North Couloir solo a few days prior and THAT was some sketchy shit! Am hoping to get lots of ice action in Feb. | | Posted Dec 21, 2007 6:49 pm |

Voted 10/10 | although it does almost looks like flowing water as opposed to ice! I'd love to get out on some ice in Utah some day...

Hasn't voted | I'd like to get out on some RMNP ice someday. Isn't there so many great places to go. They just take some time geting there. Joes is only 3 hours from SLC, with the SanRafael swell right there. It makes for a sweet Utah Winter Trip. Thanks for the comments perhaps our ice climbing paths will cross offline sometime. | | Posted Dec 23, 2007 1:12 am |
