Bald Mountain is in the distance on the right center skyline. This is taken from the Illinois River Trail a couple miles from the Briggs Creek Trailhead. The Wild and Scenic Illinois River is below. This trail traverses along these steep slopes for about 5 miles in along this section. 3 November 2007
