The view north from the summit on Sept. 11, 1996: 1 -- Mt. Forgotten; 2 -- Northwest Cadet; 3 -- Mt. Baker; 4 -- Prairie Mountain; 5 -- White Chuck Mountain; 6 -- Mt. Pugh; 7 -- North Cadet; 8 -- Bedal Peak; 9 -- Sloan Peak. Proving which point is Cadet's highest: Bedal Peak, whose summit lines up exactly with that of North Cadet, is 6,554 ft. Since those two peaks line up and Bedal is lower than South Cadet (where the photo is taken from), North Cadet must be lower than South Cadet. That is, a straight line drawn from South Cadet through North Cadet and ending at Bedal would slope downhill toward Bedal, thus meaning South Cadet is the highest of the three.
