White Pocket
Paria Canyon

Remote and few know of it. This is a prize in Paria Canyon. The best part is you don't need a permit to visit. We headed out to find this area on a cold winter day as you can see from the snow. It's quite a 4WD to get to it through soft sand, but the scenery there is wonderful. This is one of my favorite places in the Coyote Butte area.

out-of-the-way places! Those dark clouds look pretty awesome. Yes, I guess black would be another color found in Nature. Thanks, Tanya!

If I had to list my top 10 favorite things... a good storm would be up there!

That place is awesome.... and perfect on a cold winter day when most of the other trails are muddy or hard to get to. A little moisture makes the soft, deep sand out there actually easier to drive.

White Pocket is a cool place and the snow storm made it all the more fun to take photos at. :)

Thanks!

I like this one too... I love dark, stormy days for photos -- it adds drama.
