Hasn't voted | Thanks Alan for checking out the image. It's a very beautiful area and this is my second time being up there in the past two years. Last year I didn't get the chance to see Wild Basin (in image) since I took another trail and had to retreat due to the winds. When I got home I check out the Niwot Ridge weather station stats for the day, which is five miles to the south, and there was a 104mph wind gust recorded that day. The winds were unbelievable. here is the link for the weather station
