Eventually we went right over the top of this big rock, which always presents the most formidable obstacle on the Lone Peak's knife edge in winter. Only it usually possible to get around it. 1/26/07

Seriously it is not so easy to get onto the top of this boulder, but once you get there, you realize that getting down on the other side is much worse. It less snowy conditions, my fav workaround is on the left. | | Posted Feb 5, 2008 8:57 am |

Voted 10/10 | would be to "lasso" it with a length of
rope, kinda like a cowboy does in a rodeo.
Are there pitons in the rocks, or do most
people remove them afterwards???
