small, especially when I click on the
photo. In my humble opinion, this
should have received "Photo of the Hour!"
Nice picture, Hiltrud. Thanks for sharing
it with us.

Summit of Tour Ronde is just at the centre of the photo. It it quite small from this sight compared to how it looks like from glacier below it. Cheers Tomas :)

I understand what you're talking about.
Thanks for the information. Where did
you learn how to speak English ... you
seem to have a great command of the language.
Are you from Slovakia or Slovenia? For
some reason, I get them confused. The two
languages, I mean. Have a great day in
the mountains, or wherever the day will
find you. I love your mountains photos.
Thank you, Tomas! : - ))))

Thank you too, Hiltrud! This is really an
amazing photo. Almost looks like it was
taken from an airplane or eagle's view!

Well, in 1975 it was my first trip to any sort of altitude. I was tearing along the plateau feeling absolutely great and fighting fit. Then fell ill during the night with a big dose of mountain sickness so couldn't make the climb. My pride was hurt more than my body. Well, my target is Everest at 71. Thanks for the lovely view.
