Hasn't voted | Hi, it was not only an "ice climbing" course. We had to dug a snow cave and sleep 4h. 30min. in it (at 6:30 there was a meeting), and had to cook in snow. After "breakfast" we learned every kind of fall until all our wear was wet. Then we learned how to join the rope and how to secure ourselves. Then we learned leading the rope in snow and belay with an ax or two. Then there was ice climbing section, then testing the safety of slope (avalanche tests) and training of avalanche rescue.
