The two most viable ways to get from the lower basin to the upper basin. The pink and the green routes have about the same amount of difficulty, though the green route might require one to cross the roaring creek higher up (to get to a good camp spot). The pink line may also be better once snow has melted out in the upper basin due to brush in the middle of the basin near the creek. The good campsites are on the east side of the upper basin.
