Hasn't voted | Wow, seldom go to Summitpost anymore, but did this a.m. and came across a question only 2 months old. Climbing up where we did wsa straight forward. There was one spot (as I recall, it's been a few years now) where the snow cover got very narrow and I broke through snow bridge and started sliding. My son was right behind me and planted his axe below my feet before I even got going. The couloir is narrow and I remember a steep wall on the right. It's very interesting. Exiting was no problem, we just ran out of snow and scrambled up a scree slope for 30 feet or so. The angle in the couloir could have been 50 degrees at some stage, but the snow was good and I never felt insecure.
