Trail/road up Spooner's north canyon is a road but used for X-country skiers/snowshoers during the season, which ended on March 27th of 2003. .As you head up the road from Spooner Lake, you travel through many groves of Aspen. Snow Valley Peak is just barely visible through the trees and this was my first glimpse of it 4-10-03
