Climbing Longs Peak's North Face [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Climbing Longs Peak's North Face
Approximately the midway point of the technical section of Longs Peak's North Face route. I was clipped to the bolt with a short sling, but happenend to find myself perched in the perfect position to catch this picture. Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. March 2008.

and interesting perspective. It captures the feeling of what it's like to be on route. I climbed this in Feb several years ago and it was one of the best climbs I've done.

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
