Voted 10/10 | STEEP for a 5.9. Nice shot and nice job on this climb.
Man, I wish I could go climbing, packing and unpacking for the next 2 months. :-( | | Posted May 22, 2008 3:07 pm |

Hasn't voted | "STEEP for a 5.9" it's a .9+ and even that felt plenty sandbagged to me :)
So did you guys buy a house or something? that kind of packing/unpacking? | | Posted May 22, 2008 4:07 pm |

Voted 10/10 | It's been a couple years for me, but I remember that pitch definitely feeling stout for the grade. And the final 30 feet DEFINITELY feels steeper than your average 5.9. Really fun.
Can't tell what kind of nut Radek's got in above the 2nd to last bolt, but it's got a screamer so I'm guessing thin...i.e. just for looks. =) I remember feeling like I was waaaaay above that bolt when I clipped the one right below the belay.
But I'm a chicken. =) | | Posted Jun 10, 2008 2:17 pm |

Hasn't voted | Jonathan - yeah, I found the pitch hard and not exactly sport-bolted at top :)
Thanks for visiting (& I saw the photos of your climb of this thing - inspired us to give it a go :) | | Posted Jun 10, 2008 4:41 pm |

Voted 10/10 | oh cool! must have seen Dragan's pics. I can't remember if those are from the first or second trip - led different pitches each time.
cool climb in a cool place except for the roar of I-84 in the background... | | Posted Jun 10, 2008 4:48 pm |
