Voted 10/10 | Thanks! Luckily it was barely below freezing, or this wind would have spelled real trouble for us. I didn't even have my hat by this point, a gust threw it over the cliffs never to be seen again ... and I was seriously contemplating cracking open the handwarmers! Sure there was its share of chuckles about "summer season" on the trip LOL. | | Posted Jun 10, 2008 1:19 pm |

Voted 10/10 | cold weather must be a fact of
life for some people. In the
Great Basin Desert, I know it can
reach 100 degrees in August. What
do you all have planned for the
summer months? For some reason,
I think this will be a good year
for thunder and lightning. Be
careful out there, Dmitry! | | Posted Jun 11, 2008 9:41 am |

Voted 10/10 | I don't like 100 degrees but the desert is too beautiful to avoid it alltogether. Up in the Uintas, dunno about thunder, but oughtta be plenty of mushrooms ... and skeeters | | Posted Jun 12, 2008 1:10 pm |
