This view is why one climbs So. Sister, it is a killer on a clear day. Middle and North Sister are close up and Jefferson and Hood are the ones further away. AWESOME. It knocked me over 6-27-03

Looks like you can also just barely see Rainier right of Hood. Rainier is a long way away, about 200 miles away!

Actually, my bad, that's Adams to the right of Hood. Adams is about 150 miles from the Sisters.

I agree with you on that one, Adams was visible but it doesn't show all that well in this pic. I felt I could just barely see Rainier also. What a platform for viewing the mountains both north and south. I could have stayed up there a long time if it hadn't been blowing 40 mph and was colder than cold.
