Kuna Peak (left) and Koip Peak (right) under a firey and stormy sunset in September. Our campsite was on the island stretched between the two Alger lakes beneath the high ridges of the Koip and Kuna Crest. This canyon seemed to be a vortex for the fierce hail and lightening storms that plagued us that day. Notice the trail elading up the volcanic slope to the right....and yes that is an accumulation of hail NOT snow.
