I posted this photo to show the likely location of the fatal fall in August 2003 -- the "wrong gully" route described by attm. In the center of the photo, Search and Rescue personnel are lowering the body off the mountain. The area is steeper than it appears in this photo. August 4, 2003.

Hasn't voted | It is confirmed by your picture. The Wrong Gully Route I describe starts in the gully above where this rescue team is. I matched up the two pictures which is probably what you did. | DanglingDave | This takes me back | | Hasn't voted | I was the guy in the Green Bronco that took care of Aaron and let him use my cell phone and got some food into him until the helicopter came and took him down the mountian. I just started thinking about him again after hearing about the girl that got killed sking up on Blanca this past weekend (1-11-08). What a terrible time for Aaron, just glad I could be there and help him and the SRT team. They scrambled to get up there and did not have thier full complement of gear in the first group. I provided them with tarps (still driziling) and some amount of coffee and food.
