I've been enjoying this whole series. This one looks like it would be pretty hot in the summer so maybe spring or fall would be best. Did you use snowshoes on this effort?

Yep --- spring/fall is best for these types of peaks. especially if the ground is mostly frozen to consolidate the sand/gravels.

The day I took these pictures, I did not have snowshoes or skis. The roads were thigh-deep powder with a light crust, as were all north-exposed or flat areas.
