The Gray Man of Arran
The lonely rocks in the mist, conjure up strange ideas of a Grey Man as sentinel.

For some strange reason, this reminds me of
the popular "Tin Pan Alley" song, "The Sheik
of Araby."

"I'm the Sheik of Araby,
Your love belongs to me.
At night when you're asleep,
Into your tent I'll creep.

And the stars that shine above,
Will light our way to love.
You'll roam this land with me,
I'm the Sheik of Araby."

Hi Icarreau, thanks for your note it made me laugh It also reminded me of a group of buskers called "Wilson Kepple and Betty", I saw them once in Leicester Square (London) entertaining theatre/cinema queues. They used to chuck sand in the middle of the road and dance along in it synchronously wearing Egyptian style long nightshirts and fezzes. Not quite sheiks but very close. See
